South Dakota High School Football - St. Thomas More trounces Custer

September 19, 2025: Custer, SD 57730

In Friday's league challenge, the visiting St. Thomas More Cavaliers football team scored a big 50-0 win over the Custer Wildcats.

In their next game, the Cavaliers play the Lakota Tech Tatanka (Pine Ridge, SD) in a Black Hills challenge, on Friday, September 26. St. Thomas More will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Tatanka go into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 55-6 non-league loss to Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD).

The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD). The Golddiggers go into the Black Hills challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Lead-Deadwood was ripped by Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD), 36-22, in a league test.
