The South Side Cyclones football squad scored 45 points and limited the host Division Blue Dragons to 20 in the Cyclones league triumph on Friday.

The Cyclones now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Carey for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. South Side will meet a Seahawks squad coming off a 27-13 non-league win over Floral Park Memorial (Floral Park, NY). The Seahawks record now stands at 2-0.

The Blue Dragons (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mineola (New Hyde Park, NY). The Mustangs come into the Section 8 Conference III test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Mineola was defeated by Clarke (Westbury, NY), 38-6, in a league test.
