Arizona High School Football - Douglas over Empire

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Douglas Bulldogs (Douglas, AZ) and the host Empire Ravens (Tucson, AZ), witnessed Douglas's football squad knock off Empire by a tally of 28-7.

The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Rincon/University gained a win over Somerton (Somerton, AZ), 12-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Ravens battle the Walden Grove Red Wolves (Sahuarita, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 26. Empire will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Red Wolves enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 15-8 non-league win over Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ).
