The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the host Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA), witnessed St. Charles Catholic's football squad edge Dunham by a tally of 27-21.
The Comets (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, De La Salle was nudged by St. Paul's (Covington, LA), 24-7, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 25. Dunham will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 43-7 non-league win over St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA).
