The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) and the visiting East Sac County Raiders (Lake View, IA), witnessed Northwest Webster's football squad wallop East Sac County by a count of 41-6.

The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA). The Indians enter the 1A District 2 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Pocahontas was crushed by Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA), 28-21, in a league battle.

The Raiders now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host South Hamilton for a 1A District 2 battle on Friday, September 26. East Sac County will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 35-14 league loss to South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-4.
