Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Einstein Titans (Kensington, MD), 42-28 in a non-league match.
The Gladiators (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Pikesville (Baltimore, MD). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Pikesville defeated Loch Raven (Towson, MD), 20-14, in a league match.
The Titans now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Blair for a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. Einstein will play a Blazers team coming off a 61-14 league loss to Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD). The Blazers record now stands at 0-3.
