In Friday's league match, the host Strongsville Mustangs football squad scored a good 27-12 triumph over the Euclid Panthers.
The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Medina (Medina, OH). The Battling Bees come into the Greater Cleveland match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Medina was dropped by Mentor (Mentor, OH), 49-0, in a league battle.
The Panthers now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Shaker Heights for a Greater Cleveland battle on Friday, September 26. Euclid will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 21-14 league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, OH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-4.
