The Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX) football were winner over the host Eustace Bulldogs (Eustace, TX), 40-28 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Harmony for a 3A-2 Region III District 9 outing on Friday, September 26. Quitman will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 42-7 non-league loss to De Kalb (De Kalb, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs battle the Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) in a 3A-1 Region II District 7 contest, on Friday, September 26. Eustace will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 42-6 non-league win over Chisum (Paris, TX).
