In Friday's non-league match, the host Sidney Team football squad scored a good 22-0 victory over the Greene Trojans.
The Team (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Harpursville/Afton (Harpursville, NY). The Hornets enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Harpursville/Afton thwarted Groton (Groton, NY), 44-20, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Groton Red Hawks (Groton, NY) in a Section 4 D-2 battle, on Friday, October 17. Greene will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
