The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) and the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), saw Montgomery Central's football team bounce High Point Central by a final score of 55-0.

With the win, Montgomery Central advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Randleman (Randleman, NC) to confront the Tigers in a PAC Seven 4A/5A contest on Friday, October 3. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Bison confront the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a PAC Seven 4A/5A contest, on Friday, September 26. High Point Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 29-0 league win over Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
