The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Notre Dame Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ) and the host Hightstown Rams (Hightstown, NJ), witnessed Notre Dame's football squad topple Hightstown by a count of 49-21.
The Irish (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Steinert (Hamilton, NJ). The Spartans go into the West Jersey - Capitol battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Steinert overcame Allentown (Allentown, NJ), 30-21, in a league battle.
The Rams now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Nottingham for a West Jersey - Capitol battle on Friday, September 26. Hightstown will play a Northstars team coming off a 35-6 league loss to Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ). The Northstars record now stands at 0-4.
