Hill City Ringnecks (Hill City, KS) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Thunder Ridge Longhorns (Kensington, KS), 58-12 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Hill City advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Ringnecks travel to Rawlins County (Atwood, KS) to play the Buffaloes in a Northwest Kansas (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 26. The Buffaloes go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Rawlins County lost 40-34 in their recent league battle against Trego (WaKeeney, KS)

The Longhorns now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Linn for a Twin Valley (8 Man) match on Friday, September 26. Thunder Ridge will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
