Florida High School Football - Inlet Grove defeats Somerset Academy South Homestead

In Friday's non-league match, the host Inlet Grove Hurricanes football squad scored a good 25-12 victory over the Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes (2-1) will now prepare for their match against King's Academy (West Palm Beach, FL). The Lions go into the 2A District 11 battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, King's Academy prevailed over American Heritage (Delray Beach, FL), 15-14, in a non-league battle.

The Hurricanes now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Miami Country Day for a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. Somerset Academy South Homestead will play a Spartans team coming off a 39-36 league win over Faith Christian (Orlando, FL). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
