The Lafayette County Cougars walloped the visiting Varsity Opponent football team by a score of 42-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Dierks Outlaws (Dierks, AR) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Lafayette County will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Outlaws enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 61-24 non-league win over Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR).
The (7-50) will now prepare for their challenge against TDW Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, TDW Academy bounced Varsity Opponent (, ), 38-29, in a non-league test.
