The Lathrop Mules got by the visiting Skyline Tigers football team by a score of 28-24 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mules play the East Buchanan Bulldogs (Gower, MO) in a KCI challenge, on Friday, September 26. Lathrop will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 34-27 league loss to North Platte (Dearborn, MO).

The Tigers (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pierce City (Pierce City, MO). The Eagles come into the Southwest test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Pierce City was nipped by Ash Grove (Ash Grove, MO), 50-27, in a league test.
