Pennsylvania High School Football - Laurel Highlands overwhelmed by Mt. Pleasant

September 19, 2025: Uniontown, PA 15401

In Friday's non-league outing, the Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA) football squad trounced the host Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA), by a margin of 49-0.

The Vikings now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Yough for a WPIAL AAA Interstate outing on Friday, September 26. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 49-6 non-league loss to Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Laurel Highlands drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA) to clash with the Colts in a WPIAL AAAA Big Six outing on Friday, September 26. The Colts come into the outing with a record of 4-1. Chartiers Valley won 22-13 in their recent non-league outing against Hampton (Allison Park, PA)
