Mississippi High School Football - Leake Central knocked off by Morton

In Friday's non-league game, the Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) football team overcame the visiting Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), by a tally of 43-31.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 26. Morton will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 44-14 non-league win over Mize (Mize, MS).

With the defeat, Leake Central drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Gators host Velma Jackson (Camden, MS) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league outing on Friday, September 26.
