Maryland High School Football - Liberty prevails South Carroll

In Friday's league match, the visiting Liberty Lions football squad scored a good 24-15 triumph over the South Carroll Cavaliers.

With the win, Liberty improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lions host Westminster (Westminster, MD) to play the Owls in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25. The Owls go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Westminster won 31-21 in their recent non-league battle against Century (Sykesville, MD)

The Cavaliers now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Century for a Class 2A1A West battle on Friday, September 26. South Carroll will meet a Knights squad coming off a 31-21 non-league loss to Westminster (Westminster, MD). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.
