    The Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX) football knocked off the host Salado Eagles (Salado, TX), 41-28 in Friday's non-league outing.

    The Bumblebees now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Whitney for a non-league outing on Friday, September 26. Little River Academy will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 49-17 non-league win over Rogers (Rogers, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

    Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Lago Vista Vikings (Lago Vista, TX) in a 4A-2 Region IV District 13 contest, on Friday, September 26. Salado will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 52-34 non-league win over Marion (Marion, TX).
