Tioga Bulldogs (Tioga, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), 47-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Tioga advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Trenton (Trenton, TX) to play the Tigers in a 2A-1 Region II District 6 battle on Friday, September 26. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Trenton lost 36-10 in their recent non-league battle against Como-Pickton (Como, TX)

The Buffaloes now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Chisum for a 3A-2 Region III District 9 battle on Friday, September 26. Lone Oak will play a Mustangs team coming off a 42-6 non-league loss to Rains (Emory, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.
