California High School Football - Los Angeles crushed by University

September 19, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90025

University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Los Angeles Romans (Los Angeles, CA), 48-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, University improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Venice (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Gondoliers in a Western battle on Friday, October 3. The Gondoliers come into the test with a record of 2-3. Venice lost 41-6 in their recent non-league test against Westlake (Westlake Village, CA)

With the defeat, Los Angeles drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Romans travel to Wilson (Los Angeles, CA) to meet the Mules in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Mules come into the test with a record of 2-3. Wilson lost 40-21 in their recent non-league test against Alhambra (Alhambra, CA)
