In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds football squad scored a decisive 47-0 victory over the Nevis Tigers.
The Thunderbirds (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls (Oklee, MN). The Rebels enter the Mid Northwest - Valley Plains West match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls routed Bagley (Bagley, MN), 52-20, in a league battle.
