In Friday's league match, the visiting Richfield Wildcats football squad scored a good 40-18 triumph over the Manti Templars.

The Wildcats (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar (Cedar City, UT). The Reds go into the 3A - South battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Cedar prevailed over North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT), 42-0, in a league battle.

The Templars now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host San Juan for a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. Manti will play a Broncos team coming off a 61-7 league win over Delta (Delta, UT). The Broncos record now stands at 5-1.
