Arizona High School Football - Mayer overwhelmed by Mogollon

In Friday's league game, the Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ) football team triumphed over the host Mayer Wildcats (Mayer, AZ), by a tally of 59-6.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the El Capitan Eagles (Colorado City, AZ) in a 1A North (8 Man) outing, on Saturday, September 27. Mogollon will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Bagdad (Bagdad, AZ).

With the defeat, Mayer drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ) to clash with the Wildcats in a 1A North (8 Man) contest on Friday, September 26. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 2-2. Joseph City won 48-44 in their recent non-league contest against Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ)
