Pennsylvania High School Football - Meadville bested by McDowell

The McDowell Trojans football squad scored 65 points and limited the visiting Meadville Bulldogs to 47 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harding for a non-league test on Friday, September 26. McDowell will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 42-6 non-league win over St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Meadville drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sharon (Sharon, PA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Sharon lost 30-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Farrell (Farrell, PA)
