The Golden Aces (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Paris (Paris, IL). The Tigers enter the Little Illini contest with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Paris overcame Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL), 48-7, in a league battle.

The Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Richland County for a Little Illini battle on Friday, September 26. Newton will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 57-19 league win over Marshall (Marshall, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
