Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV) followers went home pleased Friday as they witnessed their football squad topple the host Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV), 20-0 in a league match.

The Cardinals (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans enter the Two Rivers match with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Morgantown prevailed over Connellsville (Connellsville, PA), 48-21, in a non-league battle.

The Applemen now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Martinsburg for a Eastern Panhandle battle on Friday, October 3.
