The Nedrose Cardinals (Minot, ND) football tipped the visiting Surrey Mustangs (Surrey, ND), 36-30 in Friday's league outing.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Divide County for a 9-Man Region 3 (9 Man) outing on Friday, September 26. Nedrose will face a Maroons team coming off a 29-12 league win over Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND). The Maroons record now stands at 5-0.
The Mustangs (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Alexander (Alexander, ND). The come into the 9-Man Region 3 (9 Man) outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Alexander edged Towner-Granville-Upham (Towner, ND), 44-0, in a league outing.
