South Oldham Dragons (Crestwood, KY) followers were content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the visiting Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY), 14-11 in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons play the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) in a 5A District 6 challenge, on Friday, September 26. South Oldham will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 43-13 non-league win over Carroll County (Carrollton, KY).

The Colonels (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Hardin (Radcliff, KY). The Trojans go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, North Hardin nipped Valley (Louisville, KY), 48-8, in a non-league challenge.
