In Friday's non-league match, the host Poteet Aggies football squad scored a close 14-7 triumph over the Pearsall Mavericks.
The Aggies (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Marion (Marion, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Marion was nudged by Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX), 52-34, in a non-league match.
