Alabama High School Football - Phillips falls to Shoals Christian

The Shoals Christian Flame felled the host Phillips Bears football team by a score of 32-19 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Flame play the Meek Tigers (Arley, AL) in a 1A Region 7 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Shoals Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 64-6 league win over Waterloo (Waterloo, AL).

The Bears (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Brilliant (Brilliant, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Brilliant went down by Pickens County (Reform, AL), 57-6, in a league test.
