Texas High School Football - Pieper trounces Wagner

September 19, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78620

In Friday's league match, the host Pieper Warriors football squad scored a decisive 48-13 triumph over the Wagner Thunderbirds.

In their next game, the Warriors play the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Pieper will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Rangers go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 41-14 league win over Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX).

The Thunderbirds (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against MacArthur (San Antonio, TX). The Brahmas go into the 5A-1 Region IV District 13 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, MacArthur was ripped by New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX), 35-7, in a league test.
