The Point Pleasant Boro Panthers got by the visiting St. John-Vianney Lancers football team by a score of 14-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Jackson Memorial Jaguars (Jackson Township, NJ) in a Shore - A South challenge, on Friday, September 26. Point Pleasant Boro will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 28-0 league win over Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ).
With the defeat, St. John-Vianney drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ) to meet the Braves in a Shore - C North test on Friday, September 26. The Braves come into the test with a record of 3-1. Manalapan won 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Howell (Farmingdale, NJ)
