Ohio High School Football - Ridgemont can't hold off Toledo Christian

Toledo Christian Eagles (Toledo, OH) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), 34-32 in a non-league match.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN). The Braves come into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian was nudged by South Adams (Berne, IN), 49-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Golden Gophers confront the Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) in a Northwest Central battle, on Friday, September 26. Ridgemont will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Rams go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 38-26 league loss to Ridgedale (Morral, OH).
