St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH), 45-33 in a non-league battle.
With the win, St. Ignatius improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to St. Edward (Lakewood, OH) to play the Eagles in a Freelance match on Friday, October 3. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 4-1.
Coming up next, the Beavers meet the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) in a Western Reserve match, on Friday, September 26. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 27-14 non-league loss to Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH).
