Nebraska High School Football - Sacred Heart toppled by Weeping Water

The Sacred Heart Irish football team (Falls City, NE), dropped 72-64 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Weeping Water Indians (Weeping Water, NE)

With the win, Weeping Water advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Indians host Cedar Bluffs (Cedar Bluffs, NE) to battle the Wildcats in a D2 District 1 (8 Man) contest on Friday, September 26. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 2-2. Cedar Bluffs won 48-42 in their recent non-league contest against Omaha Christian (Omaha, NE)

Coming up next, the Irish battle the Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans (Humboldt, NE) in a D2 District 1 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 26. Sacred Heart will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Titans enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 68-6 league loss to Elmwood-Murdock (Murdock, NE).
