The Wellborn Panthers felled the visiting Saks Wildcats football team by a score of 36-12 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Wellborn will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 24-7 league loss to Booker T. Washington (Tuskegee, AL).
With the defeat, Saks drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-3. Central of Coosa County won 50-14 in their recent league challenge against Ranburne (Ranburne, AL)
