The crowd at Friday's league contest between the St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR) and the visiting Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR), witnessed St. Paul's football squad wallop Santiam by a tally of 52-6.
The Buckaroos (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Colton (Colton, OR). The Vikings enter the 2A Special District 2 (9 Man) contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Colton crushed Nestucca (Cloverdale, OR), 48-30, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Wolverines confront the Sheridan Spartans (Sheridan, OR) in a 2A Special District 2 (9 Man) contest, on Friday, September 26. Santiam will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 32-0 non-league loss to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, OR).
