The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Long Creek (New Braunfels, TX). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Long Creek overcame Crockett (Austin, TX), 55-26, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Central Catholic for a TAPPS Division I District 2 battle on Friday, September 26. Savio will encounter a Buttons team coming off a 33-17 non-league loss to Holy Cross (San Antonio, TX). The Buttons record now stands at 1-2.
