The Treynor Cardinals walloped the visiting Shenandoah Mustangs football team by a score of 49-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals play the Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA) in a 1A District 8 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Treynor will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 64-33 league win over Tri-Center (Neola, IA).

The Mustangs (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA). The Big Reds go into the 1A District 8 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Missouri Valley was ripped by Red Oak (Red Oak, IA), 14-13, in a league challenge.
