The crowd at Friday's league contest between the St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA) and the visiting West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA), witnessed St. Albert's football squad knock off West Monona by a tally of 42-14.
The Falcons (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Westwood (Sloan, IA). The Rebels enter the A District 8 bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Westwood dropped by Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA), 34-13, in a league bout.
The Spartans now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Logan-Magnolia for a A District 8 bout on Friday, September 26. West Monona will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 34-13 league win over Westwood (Sloan, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
