Virginia High School Football - Union smashes Tazewell

The Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) football trounced the host Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA), 49-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Bears now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Wise for a Mountain outing on Friday, September 26. Union will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 31-27 league loss to John Battle (Bristol, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Tazewell drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Giles (Pearisburg, VA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league outing on Friday, September 26. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 3-1. Giles won 38-8 in their recent non-league game against Narrows (Narrows, VA)
