The Trinity Christian Crusaders football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars to 8 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Fellowship Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, September 26. Trinity Christian will meet a Lancers squad coming off a 21-3 non-league loss to Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Thomas Jefferson Academy drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA) to meet the Spartans in a GIAA AA/A District 4 test on Friday, September 26. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Edmund Burke Academy lost 13-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA)
