Pennsylvania High School Football - Towanda trounced by Troy

The Towanda Black Knights football team (Towanda, PA), was crushed 44-0 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Troy Trojans (Troy, PA)

With the win, Troy upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Trojans host Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA) to confront the Rams in a PIAA District IV match on Friday, September 26. The Rams enter the match with a record of 1-4. Wyalusing Valley lost 55-0 in their recent non-league match against South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA)

Coming up next, the Black Knights confront the Canton Warriors (Canton, PA) in a PIAA District IV battle, on Friday, September 26. Towanda will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Warriors go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 54-0 non-league loss to Montgomery (Montgomery, PA).
