In Friday's non-league game, the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) flag football team edged the visiting Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL), by a tally of 13-6.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 22. St. Francis will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a 9-1 record after their 37-14 non-league loss to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL).
With the defeat, Marist drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20.
