The National Cathedral held off the visiting Episcopal Maroon soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Friday's league game.
Next, the face the Madeira Snails (McLean, VA) in a ISL game, on Wednesday, September 24. National Cathedral will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Snails come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA).
The Maroon (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Mighty Hoppers go into the ISL bout with a 5-0 record.
