The Antioch Panthers football team scored 32 points and held the visiting Del Campo Cougars to 13 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 26. Antioch will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Miners enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 12-6 non-league loss to Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA).

The Cougars (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen enter the game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Placer fell by Burbank (Sacramento, CA), 26-20, in a non-league game.
