The Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA) football knocked off the host Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 28-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Dons now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Granite Hills for a non-league outing on Friday, September 26. Cathedral Catholic will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 14-12 non-league win over Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Helix falls to 3-1 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league game on Friday, September 26. The Crusaders enter the game with a record of 1-3. Mater Dei Catholic won 23-21 in their recent non-league game against St. Augustine (San Diego, CA)
