Nevada High School Football - Spring Creek defeats Fernley

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Spring Creek Spartans football squad scored a good 14-6 victory over the Fernley Vaqueros.

The Spartans (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Churchill County prevailed over Sparks (Sparks, NV), 62-0, in a non-league battle.

The Vaqueros now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Truckee for a battle on Saturday, September 27. Fernley will play a Wolverines team coming off a 48-6 league win over Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-3.
