Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC) and the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), observed School Without Walls's volleyball team hold off Model Secondary School for the Deaf by a count of 2-1.

The Penguins (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC). The Cubs go into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record.

The Eagles now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson-Reed for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 24.
